Thank you for all those who entered and thank you to Lake Macquarie Camera Club for judging the entries.
The Belmont Wetlands State Park Photo Competition was an opportunity for nature lovers, amateur and professional photographers to showcase the incredible beauty and diversity of our Park and help tell the story of our important natural places and cultural heritage.
COMPETITION CATEGORIES
This competition featured three categories:
1. Landscapes – Capturing the natural beauty of the park's environment.
2. Flora and Fauna – Highlighting native plants and wildlife within the park.
3. Enjoying Nature – Showcasing people engaging with and enjoying the natural surroundings (surfing, fishing etc)
Each category had three award levels:
1. Kids (under 12 yrs) Photographers
2. Youth (12 – 18 yrs) Photographers
3. Open Photographers.

Awards were given to entries deemed the winners by judges from the Lake Macquarie Camera Club and announced by in July 2025. The prizes are bragging rights for being a photographic genius.

Competition is now closed. Entries were open from 1st March 2025 to 30 June 2025.
